Here is the honest answer. If you land during the day, you have a SIM card, and you travel light, Grab works well.

A private transfer makes sense when you land at night, travel with kids or a lot of bags, or just want to walk out and see your name on a sign. For two people, it often costs less than two shuttle seats, and it stops at your hotel door.

Hoi An to Da Nang Airport

Going back works the same way.

Choose a pickup time 3 hours before a domestic flight, or 4 hours before an international flight. The drive takes about 1 hour, and rain or traffic can make it longer.
